Tom is a UCLA trained epidemiologist focused on the real-world value of predictions (promised vs. actual) in health care. The evaluation of these predictions runs the gamut from assessing outcomes in population health management programs compared to real outcomes, to comparing promised levels of accuracy to observed levels of accuracy in AI health prediction models.

He has over 30 years of experience in using real world data to creatively design studies and to generate usable real-world evidence. He was the associate editor of the encyclopedia Cambridge World History Human Diseases, led by his Guggenheim mentor, the late Dr. Kenneth Kiple. Tom’s academic experience included faculty appointments at UC Berkeley and Columbia University working on nutritional and psychosocial determinants of disease. He left the university for a position as the inaugural epidemiologist at Anthem BCBS. It was there that he introduced causal thinking and causal analysis of population health programs. He was a judge (and soon elevated to chief judge) for the “Best of the Blues” Program at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association for innovative disease management programs throughout the United States.

The next twenty-five years were spent as an independent thought leader engaged in population health program analysis, real world cardiovascular disease research, real-world cancer epidemiology, and predictive health model assessments. He has worked with private and public insurance systems, has spoken at numerous conferences, and has over fifty papers, chapters or abstracts published in the literature.
His two US patents awarded in 2010 are the basis of an innovative software analytic tool.

Tom was a Fulbright award recipient. He received DrPH in Epidemiology at University of California, Los Angeles and his PhD in Biological History at Bowling Green State University.

Garry is a leading expert in healthcare, having researched, written and published extensively on quality, medical management, information technology and regulatory trends. He has established a track record helping trade associations, accreditation organizations, nonprofits and other health-related businesses scale nationally.

Throughout his career, Garry has brought to market over 30 accreditation programs that have been recognized by 45 states and three federal agencies. He also has developed national policy positions covering a full range of topics in healthcare. He serves on numerous boards and committees in support of improving the U.S. healthcare system.

Garry received an undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University, a master’s degree from Yale University, and a law degree from the University of Virginia.

Martin is a senior healthcare leader with more than 40 years of experience advancing population health through evidence‑based strategy, workforce innovation, and system transformation. He focuses on turning real‑world data into actionable insights that reduce disparities, improve outcomes, and strengthen community health initiatives.

He is Research Professor Emeritus at the University of Illinois College of Medicine’s Department of Family Medicine, where he also served as Associate Director of the National Center for Rural Health Professions. Earlier in his career, he was a tenured faculty member in the Xavier University Master of Health Administration program, mentoring future healthcare leaders and advancing research in health services management.

Martin has authored more than 50 peer‑reviewed publications and presented extensively at national conferences. His consulting work has supported health systems, insurers, and community organizations in areas such as marketing strategy, community health improvement, financial management, and applied analytics—translating academic insight into operational results.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from Davidson College, a Master of Science in Administration from East Carolina University, an MBA from the University of Iowa, and a Doctor of Public Health from the University of Texas at Houston.

Jack is a healthcare technology executive with decades of experience designing and integrating data systems for health plans and value-based care organizations. He focuses on practical tools—such as patient-identification algorithms and data warehouses—that turn administrative information into clear insights for decision-making.

Over the course of his career, Jack has helped develop episode-based payment systems that bundle related services into coordinated packages rather than billing each procedure separately. He has also led large-scale data integrations tied to acquisitions and market expansion. In addition, he has established governance and reporting systems that strengthen transparency and organizational performance.

Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Health Policy and Management from Harvard University.
